Our Meet the Team series continues as we introduce Jayne…
Well, what can we say about Jayne?! She’s the life and soul of the party, always smiling and laughing.
Our very own Mary Berry, Jayne is also the queen of cakes; if you haven’t tried her mint choc chip cupcakes then you haven’t lived.
She has a great work ethic and is super organised. If there’s something that needs a process. Jayne is your woman!
Name: Jayne Mcdonald
Job title: Office Manager
When did you start at The Outsourced Recruitment Company and what attracted you to the role?
I joined in September 2020.
I previously worked with Laura on a recruitment project for a facilities management company and I knew I wanted to work with her again!
Outside of your role, what other things do you enjoy about work?
I enjoy that we have a hybrid working model as I don’t live locally to the office, so it saves me the commute.
We have a really good team who work well together and organise great team events.
If you could describe your work ethic in one word, what would it be and how do you apply this in your role?
Conscientious, which came across in my DISC profile exercise. I like to be organised and put processes in place to make mine and my colleague’s work lives easier.
Outside of the workplace, what are we most likely to find you doing?
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, walking dogs, yoga, baking, painting – anything creative really!
Tell us something interesting about you
I won the women’s Welly Wanging competition a few years ago at a local fete – I’m already in training for next year’s event.
Finally, as animals are a big part of our lives at The Outsourced Recruitment Company, what’s your spirit animal and why?
I like to think of myself as an owl – wise and strong, but also private and quiet.
